I started out this "slight risk" day in the Fayetteville area and ended up heading east on highway 16. This was a major mistake as phone and data coverage was terrible. I was overtaken by a storm and encountered pea sized hail and very strong winds. I continued on highway 16 until Fallsville and took highway 21 south to the interstate in Clarksville. As I got to Clarksville, a very nice storm was developing to the southwest so I took I-40 east to Conway. The first picture is from backside of that storm looking east. I ended up sitting in Menifee as the storm passed to my north. The pictures 2-9 show the storm as it passed. I focused in mostly on the rain free base as there was some nice upward motion. The last four pictures are of a storm to the south of the one that passed to my north. I took the pictures out of my window as I headed west back home. It was almost sunset and my wife was at home sick so I decided not to head south of Conway to intercept it. This was a nice chase to get my feet wet for the season.
